Are diamonds really a girl's best friend?

You decide! I've just put up a new weekly poll on the right hand side, you may have to scroll down to get to it. The question is, "Which do you prefer in jewelry.....diamonds, pearls, or something more colorful(i.e. emeralds)?" I'm interested to know whether diamonds really do trump all other jewels. Chocolate, anyone?

I admit I had my last poll up for longer than a week, but here are the results from 24 people total:
Question: What is your favorite delectable dessert?

I see there are plenty of other chocoholics out there, like me! But really, who can choose just one "favorite dessert"? I personally love them all!
